William Georgas - Managing Partner
Bill Georgas is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of American Franchise Capital.
Prior to AFC, Bill was the Managing Owner of The Georgas Group, a tier one restaurant franchise chain operating 47 Applebee’s and 24 Wendy’s. In 2007, The Georgas Group exceeded $140,000,000 in year-end sales. The business was sold in 2008. At that time, The Georgas Group was the 37th largest restaurant franchise company in the United States. The company was built over 20 years through acquisitions and new store development. Bill was an active Managing Owner engaged in all aspects of the business operations and development
Robert Andreottola - Chief Operating Officer
Robert has 25 years of operating experience in the restaurant industry. Before American Franchise Capital, Rob was President of Applebee’s for Apple South, a 300 store franchisee with revenue of $700mm. Rob was a member of the Applebee’s franchise business council and marketing council. He later became President and CEO of Don Pablo 's Mexican Kitchen, which was voted “Best Mexican Restaurant” 3 out of 4 years under his reign. AFTER Don Pablo’s, he was President and COO of Avado Brands, which operated 137 Don Pablo's and 70 Hop's Bar and Grill.
Mike Rummel - Chief Financial Officer
Mike brings an extensive and successful background in the restaurant space to American Franchise Capital. Recently, he was CFO of Taco Mac, an Atlanta based casual dining brand. Prior to Taco Mac, Mike was CFO of Apple Grove; a 100 plus Applebee’s franchisee, CFO of Don Pablo’s Mexican kitchen, as well as Comptroller and VP of finance for Avado Brands aka Apple South.
Scott Fischer - Director of Marketing
Scott has over 25 years of marketing and advertising experience with a focus in the restaurant industry. Scott earned his BBA in Marketing from Georgia State University and MBA from Stetson University. Before working as Director of Marketing for American Franchise Capital, Scott was Executive Director of Brand Innovation for Ruby Tuesday. Earlier in his career, Scott was the Director of Marketing at the Georgas Group, a 71 store Applebee’s and Wendy’s franchisee.
Jim Kibbie - Technology Director
Jim brings more than 25 years of Technology and Operations experience to AFC Brands. He has extensive experience across multiple facets of restaurant technology including multi-unit systems management, project management and point of sale related systems. Prior to AFC Brands, Jim led the Technology department at the Georgas Group, a 71 location Applebee’s and Wendy’s franchisee. Earlier in his career, Jim worked for Toys R Us as a Project Manager and prior to that as a Store Director during his 10 years with them.
Beth Reynolds-Smith - Director of Human Resources
Beth joined American Franchise Capital with over 20 years of HR experience at major retailers including 15 years with Blockbuster, Inc. She brings extensive experience across multiple facets of HR including recruiting, training, employee relations resolution and compliance oversight. Prior to joining AFC, Beth was President of a Midwest-based HR consulting firm that she founded in 2012.
Brian Henke - Director of Finance
Brian has 29 years’ experience in Finance and Accounting. He has a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance. He has worked in various progressive roles with many large companies such as Wendy’s International, Dentsply GAC, an orthodontic product distributor, Olympus America, IKEA Long Island, and Eaton AIL, a defense contractor. In addition to these roles, Brian has several years’ experience working as an independent contractor.
